Meet me at the Belvedere

Built in 1903, the historic Belvedere has long been known as the "Crown Jewel of Baltimore". Built to house Maryland's famed "400", the Belvedere was the first luxury hotel in Baltimore. The five magnificent ballrooms hosted events for society's elite like F. Scott Fitzgerald, the Queen of Rumania, the Democratic National Convention, and the Duke and Duchess of Windsor. Today these glorious ballrooms still host elegant events catered by the premiere catering company, Truffles Catering. From weddings, to social galas, mitzvahs and corporate meetings, The Belvedere is the first place Baltimoreans think of.

Good times can be had by all inside the Belvedere's restaurant, The Owl Bar. Back in the days of Prohibition the Owl Bar was a speakeasy. Perched atop the oak bar sat ceramic Owls, and if the Owls' eyes blinked you knew the Feds were elsewhere and it was safe to buy booze. The Owl Bar still retains its original bar, brick floors and walls, stained glass, blinking owls, and serves up Baltimore's best brick oven pizza, as well as the best crab cakes this side of the Mason Dixon.

And when the party's just getting started it's time to take it up to the The 13th Floor nightclub. With views that will take your breath away, live music and dancing The 13th Floor is Baltimore's and the Belvedere's "top spot" for a night out on the town.

Historic ballrooms, live music, and fine dining - the Belvedere has it all. Learn more at www.MeetMeAtTheBelvedere.com.
